Speculation: Could We Expect An Arcade 2.0 Bundle In VALORANT?

After the announcement of the new “Arcade” skin line, the Radiant Entertainment System bundle, and taking another look at the secret hidden arcade room on Fracture, we were left with some questions.

Why did the skinline feature the Bazooka Badger, K.nock O.ut!!, and Dance Fever games over the other games we saw in the room (Octo Attack III, Tower Assault, Tacti Surf, and Trash Bots)?

Could this be because we will actually be getting another bundle themed with these other VALORANT universe arcade games? A Radiant Entertainment Systems 2.0 bundle? We sure hope so!

Previous Skins With More Than One Bundle

This certainly wouldn’t be unheard of to expand a skin line, or theme, to more weapons! We saw this with the following other skins;

  • The Ion 2.0 bundle
    • The Ion 2.0 brought the Ion skin to the following weapons:
      • Ares
      • Frenzy
      • Spectre
      • Vandal
      • And, it brought a karambit style Melee
    • The original Ion bundle only included the following:
      • Bucky
      • Operator
      • Phantom
      • Sheriff
      • And, an energy sword style Melee
  • The Reaver 2.0 bundle
    • The Reaver 2.0 brought the Reaver skin to the following weapons:
      • Ghost
      • Spectre
      • Odin
      • Phantom
      • And, it brought a karambit style Melee
    • The original Reaver bundle only included the following:
      • Guardian
      • Operator
      • Sheriff
      • Vandal
      • And, a knife style Melee

    • The original Prime bundle only included the following:
      • Classic
      • Guardian
      • Spectre
      • Vandal
      • And, an axe style Melee
  • The Glitchpop 2.0 bundle
    • The Glitchpop 2.0 bundle brought the Glitchpop skin to the following weapons:
      • Classic
      • Operator
      • Phantom
      • Vandal
      • And, it brought an axe style Melee
    • The original Glitchpop bundle only included the following:
      • Bulldog
      • Frenzy
      • Judge
      • Odin
      • And, a dagger style Melee
  • The Magepunk 2.0 bundle
    • The Magepunk 2.0 bundle brought the Magepunk skin to the following weapons:
      • Ares
      • Guardian
      • Operator
      • Sheriff
      • And, it brought a gauntlet style Melee
    • The original Magepunk bundle only included the following:

  • The RGX 11Z Pro 2.0 bundle
    • The RGX 11Z Pro 2.0 bundle brought the RGX skin to the following weapons:
      • Classic
      • Phantom
      • Operator
      • Spectre
      • And, it brought a butterfly knife style Melee
    • The original RGX 11Z Pro bundle only included the following:
      • Frenzy
      • Vandal

      • Bucky

Nonetheless, this isn’t a far-fetched idea and we’re betting on this happening. It’s only a matter of time.

What Games Would Be The Variants?

The real question is, what games would be featured as the variants for an Arcade 2.0 bundle?

We think it will only be three games featured like only three were featured in this first bundle. So, what three and why those?

We believe the variants will be based on:

  • Octo Attack III
  • Tower Assault
  • And, Tacti Surf

That would leave out Trash Bots.

The Octo Attack III and Tower Assault arcade games in Fracture’s Arcade Room.
Tacti Surf Arcade Game In Fracture Arcade Room
The Tacti Surf arcade game in Fracture’s Arcade Room.
Trash Bots Arcade Game In Fracture Arcade Room
The Trash Bots arcade game in Fracture’s Arcade Room.

Why Would These Games Make The Cut?

First, we are extremely confident the Octo Attack III game is much more ingrained in VALORANT at this point. We even already have an Octo Attack II spray:

Octo Attack II Spray

So we believe that a variant for Octo Attack III would be counted in!

Then that left two games to choose as variants out of Tower Assault, Trash Bots, and Tacti Surf.

A Trash Bot gun would not be nearly as fun to design as a Tacti Surf gun, so we would pick Tacti Surf over Trash Bot.

The last choice was then be between Trash Bot and Tower Assault.

We think Trash Bots, is meme-y relating to the Bots in the Range. Which might differentiate it from the rest of the games that seem to be their own thing. For that, we think it would be Tower Assault. But, honestly we are not sure on this.

What Weapons Could We See For An Arcade 2.0 Bundle?

The current Arcade bundle features the following weapons:

  • Phantom
  • Ghost
  • Operator
  • Bulldog
  • And, a power fist Melee

We can take a look back at the other skin lines with more than one bundle and see if there is a possible trend in what weapons where in the first bundle and then what was ultimately in the second. However, when doing this we didn’t find an original bundle that featured these exact weapons (or even a second bundle that did).

As a matter of fact, there is no other skin line that, across both bundles, features a skin for the Phantom, the Ghost, and the Bulldog. There is only one other skin line that across both bundles features a skin for both the Phantom and the Ghost. And that is the Reaver skin line.

The only difference potentially between the Reaver line and the Arcade line for weapons would be that the Reaver has a Guardian, not a Bulldog.

It is also important to note that only the Prime skin line features both of the lower class rifles, the Bulldog and the Guardian. All of the other skin lines with more than one bundle only feature on lower class rifle, a Bulldog or a Guardian.

All of these bundles also feature both a Vandal and a Phantom, two Melee weapons, and two sidearms.

If we followed the trend of the Reaver skin line and assumed this bundle was like the majority of others only featuring one lower class rifle, then we could expect the Arcade 2.0 to have these weapons:

  • Sheriff
  • Spectre
  • Vandal
  • Odin
  • And, a Melee
